It's the 245th birthday of the United States of America, so it's time to celebrate. And what better way to celebrate America than by introducing your kids to shows that you watched on the only American network made for kids? No, I'm not talking about just Nickelodeon, I'm talking about the reason for this petition, Nick Jr. These day, kids are being introduced to shows such as Cocomelon, which is meant for children from infancy to around one or two years old. Whereas we, all of us who support this petition, were introduced to great shows that taught us the values we still remember today and try to teach our children. But, unfortunately, parents today are just giving their kids free rein on the internet by giving them a phone or tablet  and introducing them to inappropriate if not pornographic material on sites like Tiktok and YouTube. That is a predicament that HAS to stop, for the sake of our children and for the sake of us parents and family members, me being one of the latter.

I implore you parents to do a favor, not just for yourselves and your children, but also for your country to cut the internet access in your homes and schools and let your kids be kids. Don't force them to be grown up, let them be what they are. Children. Children are the future of America, and the entire world. If they are corrupted and not learn the values that only the shows we grew up with can teach, than we'll be heading down a path I dare not even think about. With all that being said, I wish each of you a happy Fourth of July.
