Several years, nearly a decade ago, television screens tuned to Nickelodeon to watch the biggest Nick Jr. character get-together in New York for a big festival of music. Multiple bands, including The Roots and Nick Jr.'s own Fresh Beat Band took the stage alongside Wyclef Jean for a festival of music. And the kids got to see, meet, and even dance with Nick Jr. characters they knew and loved, including Blue and Joe from Blue's Clues, Kai-Lan and her friends, Team UmiZoomi, DJ Lance and the Gabba gang from Yo Gabba Gabba!, The Wonder Pets, Dora and her friends, and the Backyardigans. That show was not only the biggest music festival on Nick Jr., but it was also the final appearance of the Backyardigans in the opening number of the show, I Got a Feeling, where they sang a good majority of the song after Dora, Boots, Diego, The Wonder Pets, Blue, Kai-Lan and her friends and Team UmiZoomi started it.

The show was great, but very few people actually recorded the show when it came on, considering it was aired in primetime. But still, the show went on as being a remembered special for those who saw it. However, there's another chance to see the return of the Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest, sort of. Just recently, on Pluto TV and on Nickelodeon television, an advertisement came on talking about a return of the Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest, only not quite as we remember it. That's where we come in, we have a short window, seeing as the event begins in July, but we have to convince Nickelodeon, if they decide to do one again for next July, to bring the Mega Music Fest stage show back for a re-airing. I feel that it's the only right thing to do to accompany the musical episodes that are likely to be featured at this year's fest, including Bubble Guppies, Paw Patrol and Blue's Clues and You.
