Yesterday and today, on Instagram and YouTube, I got a few pieces of news that will ring out joy like a choir of angels.

First, an old friend is returning before her big reintroduction. To quote Face from Nick Jr's glory days... "Introducing, the one, the only, the very very blue... BLUE!!!" That's right, Blue is coming back early before the remake of her show, called Blue's Clues and You, at a Nick Jr. Live Stage Show called Move to the Music. She's gonna be joining Shimmer and Shine, the Bubble Guppies, the Top Wing Cadets, and the Paw Patrol on stage. If you can find out where the show will be going, grab some tickets and get ready to introduce your little ones to a character you grew up with, Blue. Trust me, the more little children of today know about Blue, the more she'll be remembered, and the more likely Viacom and Nick will bring her back on DVD and/or Netflix.

Second, Bubble Guppies has been revived!! Your ears don't deceive you, Bubble Guppies is coming back for a fifth season!! Almost explaining why they're going to be at the stage show I mentioned. As for the date of airing for the new season, I'm not sure of yet. In the meantime, we should try to get Viacom and Nickelodeon to release the previous four seasons on DVD and/or Netflix, as part of the goal of this petition.

But, unfortunately, as the old saying goes: Where someone takes two steps forward, they always take one step back. And that one step is Dora and the Lost City of Gold. I saw the trailer, and the filmmakers completely butchered the source material. Backpack and Map don't talk at all, Boots doesn't talk either, nor does he have his trademark red boots, Diego is taller than he should be, and, if Dora moved to the city in Dora and Friends Into the City, the last Dora series on TV, then she should be in middle school, seeing as she was in elementary school in the original series, not high school. Plus, there are somethings inside Backpack that shouldn't even be inside her, such as flares and dynamite. WHO DID THIS TO MOCHILA?? You can just tell that this film is gonna flop on day 1, end of story.

But regardless of that, I really feel that Nick and Viacom are trying to do some cool things, but they need to listen to the people, and our petition, and utilize the potential they see before them. Keep the support coming, and show Viacom and Nickelodeon that we care, but we won't back down so easily.
