It would seem that Nick and Viacom are hiding something under their family friendly surface. It appears that asking someone on Instagram why Nick won't show any of their old Nick Jr shows on television has revealed the following comment, bear in mind that this comment is strictly an opinion and you don't have to agree with it if you don't want to. The comment reads: "same but they more care about consumeristic shows than old good ones". This, theoretically, proves a point about Nickelodeon and Viacom being consumerists. As a response, we must explain to the public that the companies that have been airing programs on our television for years ever since the 1970's are a group of consumerists underneath their family friendly exterior.
