We did it. Niantic listened to us. Every single one of you who signed this petition, stopped spending money, and limited playtime, it was thanks to you that this change is here to stay. Let this be a lesson that if there is a change we want to be made, it is possible if we make an outcry loud enough and pressure them hard enough. I am very hopeful for the future of this game. I had the opportunity to meet with Niantic recently, and they are looking into more ways to improve the game aside from interaction distance. Quality of life changes are big on their mind. They want to treat the players right moving forward. They have assembled a task force for all of the issues with the game, not just interaction distance, so I expect more great changes on September 1st when they let us know their findings.
