Hello, as many of you probably know there is an app called Pokémon go.   In a nutshell, you go outside and catch Pokémon with your phone as if they are really their using augmented reality.  I am a member of the blind community.  I’ve been blind since I was two years old.   Many MainStream  games are not accessible to blind people. But Pokémon go   Really struck a nerve with me because I love Pokémon.  I first found out about this app because a friend told me about it.  I thought it would be accessible but unfortunately I was wrong.   When you open the app voiceover does nothing. You’re not able to do anything right from the start. I went on 

  other blindness forums  to see if it was just my phone that didn’t work with the app. But no, everyone else’s phones didn’t work with it either.   The main issue here, is that The company who makes Pokémon go Niantic, Inc. Is ignoring us.   Members from my blindness Forums sent them emails asking if they can make Pokémon go accessible.  To this day, they have not been replied to. Also, blind people have tweeted at the company and posted on Facebook that they would like Pokémon go to be accessible. No response either.  

If  you sign this petition, together  we can make Niantic, Inc.  make this app accessible for me and many other blind people.   Thank you for taking the time to read all this
