Pets Plus is a pet store located in Lockport, NY. Those of you who have been there may know how sad this store is. Having personally been there, it truly breaks my heart to see animals so poorly treated. Puppies sitting in tiny cages with miserable looks on their faces, having no place to run around or move. Bunnies and small rodents out for the public to pick up and handle with zero supervision. Exotic birds in small cages without the inability to actually fly. There are also small and large exotic fish and snakes and lizards. The mistreatment of some of these animals is unethical.

I am not trying to bash anyone’s opinions of this store. Rather voice my opinion(s) based off my own personal thoughts and experiences at this store

As members of the community and animal lovers a like, we need to stand up for the rights of those with no voices. 3 years ago another individual decided to voice their thoughts on Change.org about Pets Plus. Just this past week (5/9/2019), the DEC raided Pets Plus due to the owners not having licenses to sell or own certain animals.
