Reuse. Don't Abuse.

Reuse. Don't Abuse.
The Issue
In Franklin Heights High School we have approximately 800-1200 students and faculty members. Every single day we throw out trash that contains at least 80% recyclable objects. As statistics show, all the trash that isn't put to recycle is thrown in a landfill somewhere around the world. This then leads to a pile of trash multiple kilometers in diameter and height. Most of these landfills end up polluting not only our air but our marine life and the water we all drink. Which is why we decided to start somewhere; having recycling bins in every room with a label above each bin telling what is recyclable and what is not. As our school starts to recycle things and become a little bit greener we can end up saving multiple aspects of our earth: plastic, trees, marine life, and etc. To begin this change we need YOU, our primary building block to success!
