NHS Forth Valley have announced that they intend to withdraw funding for a salaried GP position at Aberfoyle and Buchlyvie GP practice. This will further reduce the availability of the GP at Aberfoyle. This surgery has already seen a reduction in services due to the removal of the dispensing practice recently.

The communities served by these practices, which include many vulnerable and elderly residents, need sufficient GP services. We want NHS Forth Valley to agree that sufficient funding will be made available to ensure adequate GP provision.
