If alternative arrangements are not made before 31 July by the NHS, Mevagissey surgery, which serves more than 5,300 people in Mevagissey, Gorran and the surrounding parishes, will close – a potentially catastrophic blow to the area.

We, the undersigned, call upon the NHS to take all steps necessary to retain a primary care facility in Mevagissey for the use of the village and surrounding communities.
