Confirm the Appointment of "Ibrahim Magu" as the Executive Chairman of EFCC

Confirm the Appointment of "Ibrahim Magu" as the Executive Chairman of EFCC
The Issue
Dear Sirs,
Separation of power is good for our democracy; this gives zero tolerance to dictatorship and political anarchy.
It is understandable that the National Assembly Nigeria - Legislative Arms (@NassNigeria) is laden with responsibilities to confirm the appointment of EFCC chairman according to section 2(3) of the EFCC Act, this "law envisaged a situation whereby the president may eventually nominate his wife as EFCC chairman for vendetta and personal reasons, this Act created a check and balance via confirmation with the Senate which are representatives of the people"
What do we want?
We the undersigned call on the on the Nigeria Senate to confirm/approved the Appointment/Nomination of Ibrahim Magu as the Chairman of the EFCC who is presently in the acting capacity. We strongly believe that such appointments will send a strong signal to corrupt element who have made it an occupation to syphon public fund through diversion for personal interest or organised political theft.
Nigeria Senate should note that the Red Chamber is being considered as a house "full of dead men's bone" where every senator kept his own skeleton by the majority of the citizen, hence the refusal to confirm the appointment of Ibrahim Magu for the fear of being prosecuted.
I will advise the Senate not to capitalise on the report from DSS; as such report should be considered a "Political Sabotage" to the Presidency Headed by President Muhammadu Buhari. He is the one who appointed Mamman Daura (with trust) to head DSS, hence Mr Daura will in no wise work against or to the detriment of his boss "War Against Corruption" campaign.
We sincere Nigerian and patriotic citizen strongly support the great work Ibrahim Magu has done so far but fear that the good work will not last long should the Senate continue on its refusal to confirm his appointment. This might be our golden opportunity to sanitise the country from financial theft and reckless attitude toward the public fund.
We hope the Red Chamber will through open-mindedness, selfless service to the nation consider and confirm the appointment of Ibrahim Magu as the Executive Chairman of The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) without working towards self-interest but to the interest of the Nation Nigeria.
Yours faithfully
