As basketball players, we represent and are members of a large and very important culture. A culture of teamwork, discipline and family. We are all proud of this culture. All we want to do is further the culture by always improving upon it. As the world works to become more tolerant, the culture of basketball should be too. All we want is to express ourselves through our playing, and our uniform. The way you want to wear your shorts should be up to you. You know what they say, look good, feel good, play good. Basketball is part of us. Self-expression has to be a part of that. So please consider changing a rule that has no bearing on the actual game, but only a positive message for kids who just wanna play the game they love: be yourself.
