Before I dismantle the ignorant attempt to justify her horrendous behavior, I do want to point out that Megyn Kelly is obviously an intelligent human being. She is a Juris Doctor, after all. I am, by no means, sticking up for her. The fact that she is an intelligent woman makes her attempted defense all the more disturbing. Her defense is reduced to this: "If you can’t get past me, how are you gonna handle Vladimir Putin?" - Megyn Kelly Megyn Kelly, this is more embarrassing than your debate performance, because if Vladimir Putin is concerned with the feud between Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell, then the world is in a pretty good place. That is to say, if the two of them have no other issues to resolve than he-said-she-said tabloid gossip, then that would represent a diplomatic success of historic proportions (unlike the diplomatic failures you omitted during the debate). While the substance of your argument attacks itself, there’s one other way in which the nonsense of your “defense” is revealed: you didn’t mention Vladimir Putin during the debate.
