Due to the changing face of Newcastle public transport and our environment, this petition aims to show Newcastle Transport the need to install bike racks on their buses.

As of 2018, buses will be moving down main corridor roads and less side roads. It will be necessary for commuters to find other ways to get to bus stops on time, and leaving bikes locked up at bus stops is risky and unsafe. 

If Newcastle is to become a world class city, we can follow the lead of forward thinking places like Ottowa in Canada, cities like Los Angeles in USA, Madrid Spain and many cities in New Zealand.
