The planning committee meeting to consider the Woolsington Hall applications takes place tomorrow, Tuesday 1st November, at 9.30am in Newcastle Civic Centre. We hope to see you there.
We understand this is a highly inconvenient time for the majority of people who work during the week but it is still important the council knows the strength of public opposition to the plans.
If you are concerned about the future of Woolsington Woods and oppose the applications but cannot make the meeting due to other commitments, please email the case officer in charge of the applications (lisa.clark@newcastle.gov.uk) as soon as possible to underline your concerns about the outrageous proposals.
Please state your reasons for not being able to attend and request your name is read out at the meeting, quoting planning applications 2014/1925/01/DET and 2014/1926/01/LBC.
After all, this is a public meeting and apologies for absence should be duly noted.
Thank you for your support.
Meanwhile, the National Planning Casework Unit has advised that, should Newcastle City Council be minded to approve the proposals tomorrow, an assessment on call-in will then be undertaken and all representations made to the Secretary of State will be taken in account.
