We did it! We smashed our 10,000 target in Red Squirrel Week! More than 10,000 people want to Save Woolsington Woods! Thank you to everyone who has spread the word and supported the campaign so far. Naturalist, author and broadcaster Nick Baker has re-tweeted the petition to over 25,000 followers and 'conservation hero' Dave Goulson, founder of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, has shown his support by re-tweeting it to over 4,600 followers. Northumbrian Illustrator, Daniel Weatheritt, and North East-based painter and ceramicist, Paul Judson, have also signed the petition. Now that we've reached this milestone the government must respond. Keep an eye out for the next step in our campaign - your help is still very much needed!
