One Last Step...

Hello everyone, Firstly I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who shared and signed the petition. It truly means a lot to me, and as I cannot speak for all of the disabled community in the North East, I'm sure that people who are using their able-body privilege for the good in support of us will be highly appreciated within the entirety of the community. After emailing Laura Pidcock MP and passing over recommendations which I, and other disabled individuals share - I received a response from Laura informing us that she shall pass this message on to the Newcastle City Council. However, to follow up on this progress, I plan to email Laura again to enquire if the Council received these recommendations, as I shall then email the department directly from that point onward if the answer is 'yes'. Again, I urge you to continue sharing and signing this petition, as the petition itself is still open. The more for change, the greater the chance for change to be made.
