Thank you to everyone who has objected to the outrageous plans to fell trees and hedgerows in and around Havannah and Three Hills Local Nature Reserve.

There are growing concerns around the glaring inaccuracies and omissions made by the applicant, Newcastle Great Park Consortium, who seem to think the nature reserve and our Green Belt is theirs for the taking. 

We understand a decision on the plans will now be made by the planning committee at a public meeting instead of behind closed doors, owing to the number of objections received.

But we need to keep the pressure on.
