Newcastle City Council will decide on the controversial Newcastle Great Park application for Cell B1 (2017/0666/09/RES) on Friday 14th January 2022.

We will meet outside Newcastle Civic Centre from 9.30am - ahead of the planning committee meeting - to show the level of public opposition to the plans, which undermine local democracy and set a dangerous precedent for wildlife and green space in Newcastle.

Two other planning applications which could see further loss of green space in West Denton and another important wildlife corridor in Fawdon will also be decided at the same meeting (2021/1196/01/DET and 2021/1606/01/DET).
