Thank you to everyone who has objected to Newcastle Great Park Consortium's Green Belt grab, adjacent to Havannah Nature Reserve.

So far 66 objections have been submitted to the Council. More than 12,000 people signed the petition against the plans.

The level of objection to the application means it may be determined by planning committee, rather than a delegated decision, which takes place behind closed doors.

The more people object, the greater the likelihood that our elected representatives will have to make a decision in public on this outrageous proposal.
