Now that our legal case has closed, we have received a final invoice from our solicitor. This leaves £1,000 to pay.
We recognise it is far from ideal to ask for money in the midst of COVID-19, but we have reopened our crowdfunding page in the hope that those more financially stable in these uncertain times may be in a position to contribute towards the cost.
If you can spare any money, it would be greatly appreciated.
Please share this with others, in the hope that we can raise the funds.
Although we are disappointed that the Court refused permission for judicial review, the judgement has shed light on Newcastle City Council's decision making, which undermined what was democratically agreed in the local development plan.
We have requested a transcript of the court hearing and will use this to inform and influence future campaigns against development that harms wildlife and green space.
Thank you for your support.
