327 objections have been lodged with Newcastle City Council against plans to hem in Havannah and devour more of the city's Green Belt.
The earliest date the application could be decided would be Friday 26th October, but this is not yet confirmed. This leaves ample time to object.
We remain concerned about the lack of transparency and openness around communications between council officers and developers.
We are awaiting further details of a freedom of information request, which should shed light on what has been going on behind the scenes to make such an unacceptable proposal 'acceptable'.
Newcastle's Green Belt could suffer the death of a thousand cuts if plans like this are allowed to go ahead unchecked.
If you haven't already objected to the council, please do so as soon as possible.
