On Sunday 6th August we will hold a public demonstration against Newcastle Great Park Consortium's plans for 1,200 houses and two schools, just metres from Havannah and Three Hills Nature Reserve. Come and learn what this development would mean for people and wildlife, and how you can make your views known. We will discuss how we can influence the planning process to reduce the number of houses. The more people we get to the demonstration; the more chance we have of getting the number of houses reduced. Meet at 2pm, Hazlerigg and District War Memorial Community Centre, Coach Lane, Hazlerigg. The community centre is by the entrance to Havannah Nature Reserve, so there will be the opportunity to explore the reserve. Hope to see you there. Please spread the word.
