Thanks for all your signatures. We a now a big team of 20452 New Zealanders who have joined together to express our concerns on the raw milk raids and regulations.
I have emailed our minister for Food and Safety Mr Damien O'Connor for a meeting to discuss raw milk customer concerns and received a reply that my email had been forwarded to MPI for a response. That was 14th Feb, I haven't got a response from MPI. I then followed up with the Minister lately and haven't heard anything further either from MPI or Mr. Damien O'Connor.
We still believe that these regulations are an unnecessary burden on our farmers in terms of extra cost for both farmers and the consumer. If its about safety then alcohol, drugs, pesticides on vegetables should also receive the same treatment from MPI,which we know is not the case.
Let us re-visit the benefits of consuming this superfood. MPI and their officials can also benefit by knowing its goodness :). You can also add more of the benefits you know by commenting on this update.
