Kia Ora,
We are excited to announce the official relocation of our petitions to the New Zealand Parliament Petitions Website. After reviewing digital advocacy platforms, we have decided to transition our efforts to an official government channel to ensure maximum transparency, legislative visibility, and democratic integrity.
Regarding the Transition from Change.org
Our organisation has determined that third-party, commercial platforms—specifically those based in the United States—no longer serve as appropriate venues for petitions concerning New Zealand’s national sovereignty. We have concerns about the algorithmic neutrality of these platforms and the ethics of "promoted" or "purchased" views. To maintain the highest ethical standards and ensure that public support is organic rather than monetised, we have stopped all financial contributions to and use of Change.org.
Our Position on National Sovereignty
We firmly believe that New Zealand’s security and democratic processes must remain independent of foreign political influence. Given the current geopolitical climate and shifts in United States domestic and foreign policy, we advocate for a formal review of the presence of foreign law enforcement agencies, such as the FBI, within Wellington.
It is our position that the current trajectory of U.S. administration policy may present a conflict of interest with New Zealand’s democratic values. We urge the House of Representatives to consider the closure of these offices to safeguard our national independence.
Call to Action
We invite all our supporters and concerned citizens to support this movement through the official parliamentary process. By signing the petition on the New Zealand Parliament website, your voice is formally recorded within our legal system. Please share this update with other concerned New Zealand citizens.

Petition request
That the House of Representatives urge the Government to review the FBI’s Wellington presence, re-evaluate strategies for independence from foreign influence, continue to support and uphold international law with EU/UN partners, and initiate a national dialogue about shielding our democracy from external ideological shifts.
Petition reason
We believe we must reassess security ties with the US to ensure they serve our national interest. We believe public concern is rising over FBI influence and the impact of the MAGA movement on our democracy. We think it is vital for NZ to maintain an independent foreign policy that prioritizes human rights, international law, and sovereignty. In our view, we must protect democratic values and citizens from external autocratic pressure to ensure a neutral and secure future for NZ's citizens.
