“No Child Left Behind” � All standards for evaluating student performance have been abandoned and the administration, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio,  former NYC School Chancellor Richard Carranza, and NYS School Chancellor Lester Young are just moving these kids along with no regard for preparing them for the future. Along with The Education Trust and many other parents, I am “deeply concerned about whether the class of 2020 (and 2021) left high school ready for college and the workforce”.  This should not be interpreted, and certainly not celebrated, as academic success! These leaders are tone deaf to the needs of our children! We need change
