Abellio has listened to the concerns of parents and pupils and have added another train (1610) from Chelmsford to Shenfield (also stopping at Ingatestone). Thank you to everyone who has signed up. Every signature counted and our voices have been heard. We would like to extend our thanks to the headteachers of the respective schools for writing to Abellio, and to Alex Burghart MP and Vicky Ford MP for helping to escalate our concerns. Lastly a thank you to Abellio for listening and acting within a week to rectify the oversight. We look forward to seeing the new timetable once things return to normal and we trust that the safety of travel for children will be prioritised during the planning process.
