Online Events
The Sisko Foundation along with the Federation (tm) are working to get some much needed funds. Working together with Greater New Orleans Foundation. Give NOLA Day is not only about helping out the Monument Project but an opportunity to help New Orleans through regional nonprofits as well.
This is a 24 hour event. Donate and spread the word as often as you like.
Convention Preparations (Dates are considered tenative as COVID-19 protocols have not been waived at this time)
One of the things that we are trying to do is get noticed in the local Community. So the following events on our radar.
MechaCon Omega July 23 - 25, 2021 New Orleans Hyatt Regency
This is New Orleans premier Anime Convention and after 15 years it is having it's final show. Despite it's connection to J-Pop, Star Trek Fandom has been happy to to show how Star Trek has impacted in Manga and Animation. This year we will add more to the event with the announcement of the Sisko Monument.
CONtraflow October 01 - 03, 2021 New Orleans Airport Hilton
The Federation (tm) through its local Chapter (USS NEW ORLEANS NFC-61000) will be hosting the first summit regarding Star Trek Fandom and in particular the Sisko Monument. All Star Trek Fandom is encouraged to come and visit. There will be Star Trek programming as well in other areas. CONtraflow is know for having a round rounded programming aimed at the arts and sciences.

Logo Needed - We need a symbol to get behind. And one that we as a community can get behind. Minimum requirements for donations are to be in a .PNG and/or .JPG format with transparent background. Full color with optional monochrome (black and another white) version for printing purposes.

Concept Art Needed - We also need to focus on what we are trying to accomplish. So budding artists local and afar are asked to create their idea of monument. Bronze statutes like Kirk in Riverside, or a bust like Janeway in Bloomington. Or something different? Show us your idea. We need pictures of what you are trying to do.
