Dear folks, You are hearing from us because you signed our original QUIET TRAIN PETITION. Here's the news: the Port of New Orleans & NOPB have applied to the Federal Railway Administration for a grant that will build a new interchange at Florida Avenue. This will alleviate traffic blockage on Homer Plessy (formerly Press St) during rush hour and in general will make for less rail traffic along Press St/ Homer Plessy.
