The CYFD investigator on my case created an ex parte for emergency custody of my son. Then presented that pending case to a seperate custody hearing for my children, uninvolved in the alleged abuse case. Though my children disclosed to me that my ex coached them to make false allegations, and though he is a career criminal whose lifestyle exposed my children to severe violence resulting in PTSD, is facing his 3rd felony in posession of a firearm, his status as an informant not only allowed him favoritism in my custody but puts him at huge risk should his cover be blown... now when retaliation against him occurs again my kids will be there...again. My judge was about to rule in my favor since i am the better parent and hes not paid child support, never followed a court order and is a repeat violent crime offender, once CYFD was mentioned.... justice was no longer blind. I was punished as if i was guilty. I have to prove my innocence. I have ample evidence to prove the investigator did not actually investigate but rather made up evidence against me, but it doesnt matter. The power of this agency is grossly abused and pathetically never questioned. I can't find an attorney willing to fight this agency. I'm told the investigator is exemplary, no one has complained of impropriety before. I've met 3 families who believes like I do, that this investigator had a vendetta and acted maliciously to remove children from other families too. But no one has complained. No one stands up against this agency. But we can. The Declaration of Independence urges citizens to abolish government agencies that no longer fufill their role but rather cause harm and replace them with functioning entities. . CYFD must be replaced by workers competent in trauma and crisis. Instead of cops with guns ripping scared babies from the only family they've known often in a struggle and undisputedly traumatizing, allow parents to surrender their child first. Having mental dishealth means workers should have consideration for the symptoms, not persecute you for them. A third party must represent families during these investigations to ensure The investigations into child abuse are effective, honest and valid. A third party should handle complaints and agree to remove a child, end a case, or return children. I have lost everything. My feelings of powerlessness go directly against my civil rights. Against lies of an absolute entity my pursuit of life,liberty and happiness is irrelevant. The essential bonding my children need to be confident adults is being involuntarily ended. My daughter wants to come home her fathers home terrifies her. Finding his home more fit than mine indicates extreme pior judgement and obvious bias. My family has been destroyed and nothing will fix it. We need to voice our concerns. If no one complains of impropriety nothing will be done. CYFDabuses its power because our fear lets them. We need to voice injustices as our founding fathers ordered ua to preserve the ideals of this Nation. If you've been wronged by thatvagency meant to help, speak up. It will end when we stop it.
