NJ City Officials To Terminate Contracts With AHS-Newark!
The Issue
In Lieu of Recent Animal Cruelty Charges Brought Against Roseann Trezza, Executive Director of AHS-Newark Shelter Hundreds of Personal Accounts of Horror and Abuse Have Come To Light.
Today, city officials in Rahway, NJ made the decision to take a proactive stance in the fight against animal cruelty and terminated their contract with AHS-Newark.
In addition to pulling their support and funds from this organization, they also passed an ordinance banning the sales of dogs and cats.
Rahway will now be using Animal Control Solutions (out of Flemington ) as an interim shelter until a more permanent solution can be reached.
In order for things to change it is imperative for other city officials to stand with the city of Rahway in this fight against the animal cruelty, neglect and abuse that has been living behind the walls of AHS-Newark for far too Long! If contracts are pulled and numbers/funds drop, overseers of AHS-Newark will be forced to change once and for all!
CALLING ON OFFICIALS FROM THESE NEW JERSEY CITIES TO STAND WITH RAHWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
