Citizens Co-op is in crisis and our community has lost confidence in the co-op's leadership. The current Board of Directors and management's ability to lead has been compromised.

Members would like board representation that looks like the community it represents, conducts co-op business in a transparent manner, and speaks to the concerns and needs of the membership.

In order to help keep our co-op alive and regain the trust of its members, the membership requests that current board step down to be replaced by representatives who will strengthen the integrity of the co-op and uphold the values and processes of traditional cooperative establishments.

Because there are no provisions in the current co-op by-laws for the membership to remove members of the board, we hope to make our request for them to step down loud and clear. Please sign this petition to begin the process of creating an interim board, toward the goal of electing new leadership in the co-op.
