In just under two hours from now, at 9:00 AM EDT, the Board of Directors at the American Psychological Association in Washington, D.C. will begin their weekend-long meeting. If all has gone well, they will have on their agenda a proposal to dedicate people to form a task force to work on a new position statement (and maybe more). We would like to ask everyone who is so inclined to focus supportive thoughts, prayers and/or meditations toward this group of men and women over this weekend.
