Thank you for your signature to our great cause bringing needed safety/security infrastructure to our UGA/Athens community.

As we mentioned yesterday, we are holding our first Community Forum this evening, March 12th in Athens at the Hilton Garden Inn, Magnolia Room at 6 pm. For those unable to attend, a video recording will be made available on our Youtube Channel, we will post the link on our website and Facebook page.

We hope you will view and learn about some important initiatives – presentations by Athens-Clarke County police on deterrence and crime prevention aspect of the new Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) and Advantage Behavioral Health on the Mental Health Treatment Housing (MHTH) being built which will be available to transition 60 chronically homeless individuals from the streets into treatment.  This transitional treatment facility could reduce the number of chronic homeless on our streets by half.
