Mortal Kombat is fun. Doom is fun. If we achieve the combination of both of the franchises it will be even more fun. Quick maths. 

Mortal Kombat has a roster of cool and badass characters. I don't see Doomguy. That's my main problem :( He would fit in instantly at launch. He has a potential for a wide variety of combos, melee hits, long ranged attacks, x-rays and most importantly - fatalities. Seeing as how he can be played in different ways in the Doom games, he also has potential for different variations of abilities. I'd really appreciate it if they added Doomguy, since he's one of the most badass characters in existence. <3
