Carter Mission Intelligence: Declassified Official Dispatch #1: Read Entire Document -------------------------- It has been a little over one month since ABC announced the cancellation of Agent Carter and here we are. Since our last update, we have reached over 122K signatures on this petition! As the count climbs, we continue to see signatures from all over the world. Since the cancellation, Agent Carter has aired for the first time in Brazil and Australia. More and more people have joined us in telling the world that we know Agent Carter’s value. #SaveAgentCarter continues to have support from the cast and crew of the show. Tara Butters, producer and showrunner, posted the wonderful picture above for National Best Friends Day. Hayley Atwell continues to appear at conventions all over, including Orlando, Dallas, Philadelphia, Blackpool, Denver and Sacramento where she and fellow castmates--including Dominic Cooper, Bridget Regan, and Enver Gjokaj--have discussed how much they would love for the show to continue. (We have some video links below) At every event, there are scores of cosplayers and fans all sharing their love of Agent Carter. As we press onward, our priorities are the same as they have always been: work together, stay active, and continue to share our love of Agent Carter. We are currently working with Change.org on this serious problem and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. ------------------------------------ Regarding Nashville and why you shouldn’t be discouraged: For those wondering why Nashville was picked up so quickly and feeling slightly discouraged, we recommend reading these two articles to help you better understand the differences between the Nashville deal and Agent Carter's current situation. To sum up the articles, the City of Nashville and the State of Tennessee as well as the Ryman (owner of the Grand Ole Opry and co-producer of the show) paid millions of dollars in incentives for the show to be renewed to support tourism as well as the over $22 million the show produces in jobs. Agent Carter would of course produce more jobs, but Los Angeles has a very different climate for incentives and productions than Nashville the city.
