While a lot of us were thrilled to see the ending of the series and the well deserved happiness of most of the Voltron team (Just love it to see Shiro Happy!!!) I couldn’t help but notice that, while happy with his family, as a hero, I’m very sure that Lance’s still trying to overcome his sadness. And besides Princess Allura deserved better. She survived in the original series and it was unfair that the one that suffer the most paid the ultimate price. 

‘I’m not asking to rewrite or replace the last episode, because it’s an Emmy deserving masterpiece that values the power of sacrifice and abnegation. But thinking in another anime sagas like Macross Frontier OVA (movie) for example, in which a troubled pilot known as Michael Blanc died in the series, but survived in the OVA (movie). There a lot of ways to have changed the outcome without the need to destroy the canon if there’s going to be any spinoff series. And if not... What’s the harm?
