My decision to close this petition...

Hi all,

I would firstly like to say that I'm incredibly grateful for all of your support with this petition. I never imagined when I started this two years ago that it would gain any signatures let alone still be gaining momentum two years later. Just like you, I'd absolutely adore to see James back as Steve and to be reunited with his family and Sam however I don't want to bring false hope to anybody. As I mentioned it's been two years now and I don't think that this petition will convince the show makers to add James back to the cast. If you feel differently then please take up the baton figuratively speaking by making your own petition and take us to the finish line. I apologize if my decision to close this petition disappoints you however I really wouldn't want to stir up any false hope within the fandom. I do hope in the future I'm proven wrong, James return and we get a satisfying ending to the storylines of Steve and Sam and also Adam and Steve. But until then maybe instead we should just enjoy the episodes that we got and continue to support James in his career and Dynasty as a show. As with other shows we as an audience have proven we do not need a canonical storyline in order to enjoy our favourite characters. We can create our own ending. Wether that be happily ever after with Sam or something completely different. It's our prerogative as fans to decide what happens next outside the pages and off the screens. Again I apologize if I've disappointed anyone and I hope I've explained my stance effectively.
