There are other brands of jerky treats still in stores, such as Dogswell and AKC who continue to source their chicken from the exact same Chinese facilities as Waggin' Train. And there's no way for shoppers to know these treats could be deadly. That's why I'm asking you to sign this petition asking the FDA to post consumer warnings on store shelves. They have the ability to force retail stores to post warnings about products that are under investigation for being potentially harmful, but they do not enforce it. Right now, warnings for ANY products that have been reported to be linked to illnesses and deaths are only listed on the Reportable Food Registry on the FDA website. We need the FDA to do more: To require a simple letter posted on shelves, near the product, so that we can make educated choices while shopping. I sincerely thank you for sticking with me as we move forward together to make a difference. Please sign and share! It’s so important.
