Given the gravity of the discovery and the popularity of the show I feel it only fair that these planets be named Rimmer, Lister, Cat, Kryten, Holly, Kochanski and Duane Dibbley.

Without prior knowledge of who actually names planets, I appeal to you, the latter-day guardian of space science and the loyal space-fans around the world, to make this happen.
