My Walk for Freedom is featured on The Project Tv

Yesterday was day 13 of my walk. I walked from Wangaratta to Springhurst and will continue towards the NSW/Victorian border tomorrow. I’m hoping to arrive in Albury/Wodonga in a couple of days. 

So far, I have walked over 350km! I have had many supporters travel from all over Victoria to walk with me over the last 13 days - thank you. Brendan Corboy, Victoria State Emergency Services (VICSES) North East Operations Manager joined me for my walk. I have been a proud SES volunteer since 2016 and I’m currently a Deputy Crew Leader at the VICSES Ballarat Unit. Thanks for your support Brendan and VICSES. 

Thanks also to Rural Australians for Refugees (RAR) for your continued support. RAR have supported me and my family in Ballaarat for the last 11 years and have provided a huge amount of logistical support and resourcing during my walk. 

The Refugee Walk for Freedom was featured on Channel 10’s The Project last night. Can you please watch and share? This will help start a conversation with people who haven’t heard of my walk. My petition has 16000 signatures, but I need more signatures before I arrive at the PM’s office in Marrickville. Please continue sharing the petition and contacting your local MP about my walk.
