Three days and 91 kilometres!

Day three done!

Today was a tough day, I had to stop a couple of times to manage blisters. I was joined by Iranian refugees who travelled from Melbourne to walk with me to call on the government to give permanent visas to the over 10000 refugees still in limbo. You can help by writing an email to your Federal MP.

Locals from the area also stopped in along the route to support me and offer words of encouragement. And of course I’ve had my superstar support crew on the ground to help with safety along the route, snacks and blister care. Huge thanks to all who continue to support me. 

This has been the longest day so far with 35km completed to take the total to 91km. Over the last three days, I have travelled on Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung lands to arrive in Langley, a small township north of Kyneton. I’ll rest for the night and then head on towards Heathcote tomorrow.
