Refugee Day is over, but refugee week isn't...

The photo above is me carrying over 25 kg on Sunday 18 June to demonstrate the mental burden on refugees' daily life, I walked 6 km with friends and supporters.

Lots of things happening worldwide to recognised refugees and asylum seekers' contributions to their new homes. In Ballarat, when I met Suzan, a refugee from Nepal, she said 

• "Lots of things happening for refugee week, but nothing happens to change our lives"

Susan came to Australia over a decade ago with her husband, leaving their children with their parents. Can they bring their children to their new home in Australia?

I also want to thank those who put some money to promote the petition. Change dot org will use the money to promote. Someone anonymously made a huge amount ($3963) to promote this.
