With the recent good news announced by the  Queen on Monday during her SPEECH to ban the imports of Trophy Hunting coming into the UK.  This was a big win for animal advocates that have been campaigning for this to be banned for many years!

With this in mind surely the NEC will now remove any remaining Safari companies from the Great British Shooting Show!  What’s the point, they can’t import their trophy back into the UK, right!!! 

Putting that to one side for a moment, Trophy Hunting is not just an issue abroad it’s rife in Britain too! 

The hunting and shooting of Deer, Stag, Hares, foxes and mink are amongst some of the UK’s wildlife killed for this so called “SPORT”

With shows like the Great British Shooting Show (nothing great about this show) still in existence boasting about their huge range of weaponry used to hunt and kill unsuspecting innocent animals in the wild it’s about time  this outdated cruel past time is banned too and for shows like this to become a thing of the past, a bad memory! 

Paul Thandi, Chief Executive of the NEC we ask you to reconsider your decision to host this barbaric show and follow Liverpool's example and put Britain’s wildlife first along with the people of Birmingham and the UK!
