Lyla Brooke Chaudhary, of Stallings, North Carolina, became an angel on Friday evening, June 30, 2017, at 10:50 pm, at the young age of 7. This was the direct result of a traffic incident on a particularly dangerous curve. It is the belief of the undersigned that the simple installation of a guard rail could have prevented such a tragedy. Therefore, in order to prevent any future harm/loss of life the undersigned are seeking any/all preventative measures to be taken on this curve. Least of which to include the installation of a permanent structure (guard rail) to prevent passenger vehicles from falling down the embankment on the aforementioned curve. Given the number of incidents personally witnessed by residents of the area. The call to action is stronger than ever after an even more tragic event.

We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now to install a guard rail on the corner immediately preceding the intersection of am Newell Road and Margaret Wallace Road. In addition, the undersigned would encourage any further safety and preventative measure along the remainder of Sam Newell Road (Speed Limit Signs, Street Lights, Etc.).
