Dear Friends,

Today marks 1 (one) year since my daughter Maniche Nichole Wilson was tragically killed by a hit and run driver.  I can’t believe it’s been one year.  My first thought is how have I made it this far and my second thought is that this has to be a dream.  Unfortunately, I am reminded everyday that my daughter is no longer here by the silence that fills our home.  Still I fight for Justice for Maniche so that she can some how know that regardless of what, someone is here for her because she is more than just a teenage girl who died in a car crash, she’s a Blessing from God that is given Love every day from the day she was born until eternity.

To give honor to Maniche today, I am asking if everyone can post on social media an anime character with the Hashtag #JusticeforManiche.  Those who knew her know that she is an avid fan of Anime.  Maniche cared about the homeless as well and if you would like to donate please go to www.salvationarmyusa.org in honor of Maniche Wilson. 

I have been in contact with numerous Senators and Legislators concerning Maniche petition on Change.org.  I am currently awaiting Legislators to return to session so that the proposal of denying bond to hit and run drivers can be added to the law concerning hit and run penalties.  As soon as I learn of any new developments, I will be sure to post an update on Change.org.
