Today I reflect on the last 8 months of my life and realize that during this entire time since my daughter was killed by Michael P. Himes, I have been ignored, disrespected and humiliated to say the least. It’s like no one cares about my daughter Maniche Wilson death and that the people who caused her death have been treated as if she was only injured.

Lauren Elizabeth Kerr who received her day in court still continued to lie even after taking the plea which I must say was even more humiliating.

While addressing the court by reading my daughter’s narrative, which was written 5 days before her death, I was told it was too long and was asked to stop. Too long.... I lost my only girl and the judge felt my victim impact statement was too long.

Don’t even let me start on support. If it wasn’t for this petition and the amount of signatures it has received I would think that I died in that car crash with my daughter. I imagine there are some people who would have wanted that to occur.  For those individuals, God is in control!

I pray that someday I will have the opportunity to see JusticeforManiche. She has been hurt so much during her life as well as after her death.
