NBC has fired Ramo! However, I will still be keeping this petition open until he apologizes himself on live TV. I believe that everyone who was affected by his comments still deserves an apology, especially the women who were comfort women during the 1910s that are still alive today. They deserve the apology the most because Ramo forced them to relive the pain and suffering they had to endure, the pain that they tried so hard to forget. No one has heard the story of these women because they have been ignored throughout history. As a Korean, I feel the obligation to continue to spread the word of their story and will continue to fight until Ramo apologizes HIMSELF. Not NBC and not a different anchor.
