My precious grandchildren are being physically and emotionally abused by their father. Yet the Division of Human Resources refuses to act on behalf of these precious children and vehemently refuses to take action and continues to deny that there is any abuse!! Is there anyone in this country that can deny that the bruises on these children are proof of abuse or minimally neglect. This is an outrage! In any other state in this country the children would have been removed from his custody by now! Also, the children told us that there are now sleeping at their father's girlfriends house while their father sleeps in bed with her. DHR sees nothing wrong with two young children being subjected to this, Frankly I do not think its in the children's best interest after everything they have been through. I simply cannot fathom how this state gets away from not protecting two young children! I beg those reading this petition to please sign it - No child should be verbally, emotionally or physically abused - Tell Alabama DHR to take action and stop protecting their native Alabamians.
