When we signed the petition for NBC to dump Trump's (back then) Miss USA and Miss Universe, sponsors from the pageant came forward publicly and said that because of their values, they would not be a sponsor any longer. One of them was Farouk Systems. It could have been easy for them to turn the blind eye and try to get as much business as possible from Trump's image, but they had the guts to stand up for what was right. In 2013, Saturday Night Live showed a sketch about Jesus and Mohammed that many felt was disrespectful against Christianity. Sponsors such as JCPenney and Sears pulled their ads from the show in solidarity to the Christians that were offended. We are asking the sponsors to show solidarity to the Hispanics living in this country and our allies and pull their ads from the November 7, 2015 edition of SNL should they decide to go on with Donald Trump. No, racism is not funny and we should not allow it to be represented that way. Political correctness has nothing to do with this. This is hate at its finest from an individual that will stop at nothing if people are not on his side, it doesn't matter who. He just went after Iowans for not voting for him in a poll. Please keep on signing and sharing. This is not over.
